Are you aware that there are seven defibrillators located around Kirton in Lindsey?

They are stationed outside the Diamond Jubilee Town Hall, the doctors surgery, at the Fire Station, at Kirton Academy, KLASSIC, Jack’s Patch Garden Centre and outside the Church Halls (thanks to Love in a Cup Community Cafe fundraising).

In addition our local LIVES volunteers have access to life saving equipment.

The great news is also that anyone can use them.

Should you ever be in the situation of needing to use one, just dial 999, giving your location and the code shown on the front of the defibrillator cabinet. This will enable the operator to give you a code to open the cabinet.

The emergency services will remain on the line giving you full instructions on accessing and using the equipment and the machine literally gives you verbal instructions as to how to proceed.
