Step into the story of Humberside - from its creation in 1974 to its abolition in 1996 in this thought-provoking touring exhibition.
Three decades on,
What did Humberside mean to you?
How did people feel about the identity of 'Humberside'?
Following on from appearances at other venues along both the North and South banks areas previously known as Humberside, the exhibition arrives at Kirton in Lindsey Library. It is brought to life with memories and information about the formation and abolition, highlighting a local perspective on this unique chapter in history. Curated by Becca Drake, Jo Esra, Matt Houlbrook, Claire Langhamer, Emily Robinson, and Sam Stones, and designed by Ian Goodison.
